Terms of service
Draft dated 25 Oct 2026
These terms apply between [company name] ("Praxtic", "we") and the consultant or practice that subscribes ("you").
1. The service
Praxtic is practice-management software for private consultants: diary, theatre lists, patient records, letters, operation notes, quotes, invoicing and card payments. We provide it as an online service and may improve it over time.
2. Accounts and access
- You decide who in your practice has access and in which role (consultant, secretary or billing).
- Every user must use two-step verification and keep their sign-in details private.
- Only consultants can approve letters, operation notes and invoices.
3. Clinical responsibility
Praxtic supports, but does not replace, clinical judgement. AI features only produce drafts. You are responsible for checking and approving everything before it is sent, filed or billed. Please report safety concerns using the "Report a safety concern" button.
4. Data protection
You are the controller of your patients' data and we are your processor. Our data processing agreement [link or schedule] forms part of these terms.
5. Card payments
Card payments go directly into your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. Praxtic takes no fee from your payments and never holds your money. You are responsible for refunds and disputes with your patients.
6. Fees
[Subscription fees, billing cycle and VAT].
7. Availability and support
[Service levels, maintenance windows and support hours].
8. Ending the service
You can export all your practice's records at any time from Practice settings. [Notice periods and data return/deletion after termination].
9. Liability
[Limitation of liability wording].
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
